The British Institute for the Study
of Iraq invites applications for grants in support of public engagement
projects that promote a greater understanding of the history, culture and
society of Iraq.
Possible projects might include
educational events, lectures, study days or popular publications. They can
explore any period in Iraq, from ancient times until the present.
Applicants should normally be
residents in the UK. Preference will be given to activities taking place in the
UK and Iraq.
Deadline: 1 October 2013
Amount: £500 but more substantial
funding may be offered
